If you have employees that enter time sheets into NetSuite and you would like the Normal Time Pay Component Sub type to default rather than the employee having to enter it each time, you can follow these steps.
Note that you will need to repeat these steps each time the Payroll Bundle is updated as NetSuite does not preserve these settings.
- Login to NetSuite with the Administrator role
- Go to Customization > Lists, Records & Fields > Transaction Line Fields
- Find Pay Component Sub Type in the List and click on it
4. On the Validation & Defaulting Sub Tab , enter Normal Time into the Default Selection Field and then Save.
