If you have a significant number of payslips to set as payment after leaving and recalculate on the correct Tax basis this can be done by CSV and utilizing the Update Payslips deployment. This would only be advisable if you have a large number of records to update.
Importing the CSV
The CSV should be populated as below:

Navigate to Payroll Administration > Payroll Setup > Import CSV Records

Open Advanced Options -
Log System Notes For Custom Fields = ticked

Using the Update Payslip (Deployment)
This process will recalculate (“reprocess”) the payslips that you select.
Navigate to Payroll Administration > Payroll Setup > Update Payslips (Deployment)

Select the Update Action = Reprocess

Select the Pay Run the payslips are on

Tick Reprocess Tax, Reprocess Super and Reprocess Percentages

Select the employees you want to recalculate

Click Update Payslips
Check the Scheduled Script Status page to ensure this has completed before you move proceed with the Pay Run.
