π Overview
ClickSuper is a third-party superannuation clearing house. It integrates with Infinet Cloud Payroll to streamline super contributions and meet SuperStream compliance requirements.
This guide walks you through:
- Registration & configuration with ClickSuper
- NetSuite setup & integration
- Super fund configuration
- Processing superannuation remittances
- Compliance & troubleshooting
π§ Setup & Configuration
1. Registration with ClickSuper
- Complete the ClickSuper Registration Form
- Use one of the following File Upload Codes:

2. ClickSuper Portal Configuration
- Login to the ClickSuper Portal
- Navigate to Company Name (top-right) > Review tabs:
- Company Details
- Address
- Banking
- Authorised Officers
- Under Payment Options, set the debit interval (auto/manual).
π Note: Web portal credentials are separate from the WebService API credentials required for integration.
3. NetSuite Configuration
a. Create Payroll Vendor
- Go to:
Payroll Admin > Payroll Setup > Vendors > New - Fill out Vendor info > Add
ClickSuperunder Payroll tab fields
b. Enable ClickSuper in Payroll Setup
- Go to:
Payroll Admin > Payroll Setup > Configuration Wizard - Step 6: Enable ClickSuper Integration
- Fill in:
- ClickSuper Vendor (must match Super Fund vendor)
- Contribution Selection Type:
payorend - WebService API Username / Password
- Pay Center ID (if applicable)
Click Next through to Step 10 and then Finish.
β Super Fund Setup
Standard Super Funds
To enable contributions via ClickSuper, ensure that the Payroll Vendor on each Employee Super Fund is set to ClickSuper and all mandatory fields for SuperStream are complete:
- Fund Name (under 32 characters)
- ABN
- USI
Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF)
If an employee uses an SMSF:
- Create a dedicated Super Fund record
- Populate the following:
- ABN
- ESA (
wrkrSMSFor other) - BSB, Account Number, Account Name
- Tick Is SMSF checkbox
- Ensure Fund Name is under 32 characters
β SuperStream Compliance
Ensure the following employee and fund fields are complete in NetSuite:
Employee Record:
- First & Last Name
- Gender, DOB
- Email, Phone (with area code)
- Address (mark both Home & Shipping)
- TFN
Super Fund (Standard):
- ABN
- USI
SMSF Funds:
- ABN
- BSB, Account Name & Number
- ESA (
wrkrSMSFor other) - Tick Is SMSF
Look up fund details:
πΈ Processing Super Contributions
Step 1: Create Remittance Record
- Go to:
Payroll Admin > Australia > Super: Payroll Remittance > New - Enter Start and End Date, and Subsidiary if applicable
A pending contribution is a payslip detail line of Employee Super, Employer Super, Extra Super, or Super Salary Sacrifice with ClickSuper as the vendor, and not previously paid.
A summary line will be displayed for each employee with total contributions and breakdowns by type.
π‘ Payrun Difference: The date range does not auto-populate like a Pay Run, providing flexibility for varying payment frequencies.
π OneWorld Note: Subsidiary field appears only in OneWorld accounts with multiple subsidiaries.
Optional: Filter by Super Fund
If you only wish to include specific super funds in a remittance:
- Tick Filter By Super Funds
- Select one or more Super Funds (Ctrl + click for multi-select)
- Click Refresh to update the view
Step 2: Select Employees
If not paying for all employees, uncheck the Pay checkbox next to each name.
Step 3: Select Super Types
Only tick the Super Types you want to include (e.g., just Employer Super).
Step 4: Create Remittance
Click Create Remittance > Review the totals > A Remittance Record is created.
Step 5: Review Remittance Record
System may flag missing data. To fix:
- Navigate to the Employee record
- Enter required data
- Return and click Refresh
Step 6: Upload to ClickSuper
Click Upload to submit to ClickSuper. The status will change to Submitted - Pending Verification.
NOTE: Please wait a minute or two before you click Check Status button.
π Payment Reconciliation
Within ClickSuper Portal:
- Navigate to Uploads
- Click Payroll Remittance > Review Report
- Click Accept > Then click Schedule All under Payments
- Select payment date from the calendar
An email confirmation from ClickSuper will confirm successful scheduling.
π Scheduled Remittance Status Updates
The remittance module includes a scheduled script that checks ClickSuper daily for status updates. The script will:
- Query and update remittance records that have processed
- Identify remittances with status Submitted Pending Verification or Submitted Manual Verification
- Update payslip details:
- Mark paid and link the remittance for those with status Published
- Clear remittance link and paid checkbox for status Cancelled
A scheduled script automatically syncs remittance statuses:
Configuring Scheduled Process
The script must be scheduled manually after installation. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to:
Customisation > Scripting > Scripts - Filter by Scheduled > Click Edit next to
Payroll Remittance Scheduled - Go to the Deployments sub-tab
- Click the title
Payroll Remittance Scheduled - In the Deployment tab:
- Set Status to
Scheduled - Set Daily Event and repeat every weekday
- Choose Start Date as the next day
- Set Start Time to
3:00 am - Tick No End Date
- Set Status to
- Click Save
- Go to
Customisation > Scripting > Scripts - Filter by
Scheduled> OpenPayroll Remittance Scheduled - Under Deployments:
- Status: Scheduled
- Daily Event: Weekdays
- Start Time: 3:00 am
- No End Date
Adhoc Daily Update
Although the script is designed to run nightly, you can trigger it manually:
- Open a Remittance Record
- Click More > Init Nightly Process
To monitor execution, navigate to Scheduled Script Status under Customisation > Scripting > Script Status.
π΅ Vendor Payment
ClickSuper will debit your account. Reflect this in NetSuite with a:
- Vendor Bill Payment
- Cheque
- Journal Entry
π§Ύ Resubmitting Rejected Contributions
When Contributions Are Rejected:
- Occurs if member ID or Super Fund is incorrect
- Go to the original Remittance Record > Click Resubmit Rejected Contributions (status must be
Complete)
Steps:
- Select employees whose contributions failed
- Choose whether to resubmit now or defer
- Click Resubmit Remittance
A new remittance will be created or contributions held for future runs.
π The original Remittance Record will show notes of rejected amounts. Details remain for reconciliation.
π‘ Tip: If rejections span multiple remittance records, best practice is to defer resubmission and batch them into one future remittance.
