π Federal Tax Rate Reduction - July 2025
The CRA has announced that the federal tax rate for the basic personal amount will be reduced from 15% to 14%, effective July 1, 2025. After thorough consideration, we have decided to update the system to reflect this change accordingly, even though the parliamentary hearing has not been completed. We have the ability to revert back if anything unpredicted happens.
What this means for you: No action required - your payroll will automatically use the correct tax rates after the update.
π TD1 Forms Now Available for Northwest Territories
Fixed: Issue preventing TD1 form creation for Northwest Territories employees.
What this means for you: You can now generate both federal and provincial TD1 forms for Northwest Territories employees without errors.
π Pay Run Processing After Rollbacks
Fixed: Errors occurring when running payroll after rolling back a previous pay run.
What this means for you: Pay runs will complete successfully even after making corrections to previous payroll cycles.
π Enhanced Record of Employment (ROE) Submissions
Improved: ROE XML file validation for more reliable HRDC submissions.
