🐢 Fix: Leave Processing Slowness
What happened:
Some leave updates were taking too long to process due to background scripts running unnecessarily.
Fix applied:
Script performance has been improved—processing times should now be faster across all customers.
🦘 Australia (AU)
✅ Compliance: STP Phase 2 – $0 Child Support Reporting
What’s new:
If you're opted in to report child support via STP, ZonePayroll now includes $0 deductions in the STP file when:
- The employee earns $0 in the period, or
- No deduction is made due to Protected Earnings rules.
Why it matters:
This ensures compliance with ATO and Services Australia requirements.
Who it affects:
Only customers opted in to STP Child Support reporting.
No action required unless you haven’t opted in and wish to do so.
🔧 Fix: Incorrect STSL Thresholds (2026)
What happened:
STSL thresholds from the ATO’s published document did not match the ATO website values.
Fix applied:
Thresholds are now updated to reflect the official ATO website data.
🛠️ Fix: Super Remittance V2 – MODULE_DOES_NOT_EXIST Error
What happened:
Some users experienced an error when creating or resubmitting Super Remittance records.
Fix underway:
We are resolving a script module path reference issue that appeared during recent NetSuite upgrades.
No action needed from customers.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom (UK)
🛠️ Fix: HMRC DPS Notifications – Duplicate Entry Errors
What happened:
Some users saw "DUP_CSTM_RCRD_ENTRY" errors due to HMRC resending previously received notifications.
Fix applied:
ZonePayroll now automatically ignores these duplicates to ensure uninterrupted DPS processing.
🛠️ Fix: Terminations Timing Out
What happened:
Customers experienced timeouts when terminating employees due to inefficient data fetching.
Fix applied:
Back-end logic has been optimized to prevent repeated data calls, improving reliability of termination flows.
⚠️ Fix: Unexpected HTML in JSON Responses
What happened:
Some Suitelet responses (e.g., during terminations) unexpectedly returned HTML, causing failures.
Fix applied:
JSON response handling has been patched to ensure proper data format.
