🇨🇦 Improved T4 Validation & Box 14 Accuracy
We have updated the PR-CA EOY T4 PSD EE Validation search to be more comprehensive.
Complete Reporting: The validation logic for Box 14 (Employment Income) now correctly groups all required sub-types, such as taxable benefits (Board & Lodging, Travel) and Stock Options, to meet CRA requirements.
Better Data Matching: The search logic is now more flexible, ensuring that data is captured even if there are slight variations in field formatting.
Fixes for Calculations & Tax Profiles
RRSP Recalculation Fix: Fixed an issue where recalculating a payslip would occasionally double-count Employer RRSP amounts. This ensures your Pensionable and Insurable Earnings totals remain accurate.
2026 Tax Profile Visibility: We resolved a technical issue that prevented 2026 Employee Tax Profiles from appearing in some accounts. These records will now generate automatically without the need for manual CSV imports.
Tax Year Filtering: Fixed a bug where payslips were not filtering correctly if the pay date fell in the new year but the work was performed in the prior year.
Accurate WCB Rates during the Payrun: The system now correctly identifies and applies the most recent WCB Policy Rate based on the effective date of the WCB rate record in the system.
🇦🇺 Australia: Superannuation Remittance
Enhanced flexibility for superannuation payments, whether you use the Wrkr integration or manual SAFF uploads.
Simplified Setup & Better Guidance
Super Remittance Wizard: We have renamed the "Wrkr Integration" setup section to Super Remittance to reflect that these tools are available to all customers. We have also removed confusing "Paid Feature" warnings for those who wish to download SAFF files instead of opting for the convenient, secure integration with Wrkr (formerly ClickSuper clearinghouse).
Improved Error Recovery: If a superannuation submission is rejected by Wrkr (for example, due to an ABN mismatch), the system now provides clear on-screen guidance. You can now fix the error and resume the process without having to cancel the entire remittance.
Record Stability: We have updated how the system handles communication with Wrkr. This prevents your remittance records from becoming "locked" or inaccessible if an unexpected error response is received. This ensures business continuity in such cases.
Data Formatting & Integrity
Automatic ABN Cleaning: To prevent upload rejections, the system now automatically removes spaces from ABN numbers when generating files.
Unique File Tracking: Updated the naming convention for SAFF files to ensure every file identifier is unique, preventing "duplicate file" errors at the clearing house.
🌍 Global Updates & General Fixes
2027 Public Holidays: Statutory holiday calendars for 2027 are now live for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK, supporting accurate future-dated leave and pay runs.
Unpaid Leave Approvals: Fixed a bug where unpaid leave that carried over into a new period was not correctly syncing with the Advanced Approvals feature. These entries will now be marked as "Approved" automatically as intended.
