🕒 How to Submit Time Entries After Selecting “Save & Continue”
Overview
If time entries are not appearing in your pay run, it is likely because they were saved using "Save & Continue" or "Submit Later." These entries stay in a "draft" state and will not flow into payroll until they are manually loaded and submitted.
Symptoms of This Issue
The pay run stage displays “Time Pending.”
The "Employee Time Entry" screen appears blank/empty.
Total hours in the pay run appear as 0 or are missing specific entries.
Resolution Steps
Step 1: Return to the Pay Run
Navigate back to your current Pay Run in progress.

Step 2: Click “Enter Timesheets”
Select the Enter Timesheets button from the pay run action menu.

Step 3: Load Saved or Approved Time Entries
If the entry form is blank, you must manually pull the saved data into the view:
Look for the button: “Show Saved Basic Time”.
If hours are approved but still not displaying: Ensure the "Show Saved" toggle is active. This forces the system to refresh the grid with all approved/pending data for the current period.

Step 4: Submit Time Entries
Once the hours populate the grid:
Review the entries for accuracy.
Click Submit.

Step 5: Continue the Pay Run
Return to the pay run dashboard. The hours will now be included. Continue the pay run as normal by following the wizard to the next stage: "Variable."
Troubleshooting: "I still see 0 hours"
If you have clicked "Show Saved Basic Time" and the screen remains empty:
Check the Date Range: Ensure the time entries were logged within the specific start and end dates of this Pay Run.
Check Approval Status: If your workflow requires manager approval, verify the hours haven't been "Rejected" or sent back for correction.
Missing Workflows: Ensure the employees are actually assigned to the Pay Run you are currently processing.

To avoid a blank entry screen in the future, submit time entries immediately upon entry. Only use "Save & Continue" if you are stepping away and intend to finish the data entry later that same day.
